Project Brief Eternity Clothing is looking for interns to carry out varied duties as listed below according to their ability, we are not expecting all candidates to be able to carry out all the duties but will move candidates towards their natural ability but at the same time we are looking for candidates who have a self developing orientation, who have the ability to continuously improve and learn new skills, and increase their personal capability. With management teaching, instruction, ongoing training and mentoring from the company staff the candidate will be able to handle garment design. You will have your own goals and tasks set out with your mentor. These are examples of tasks you might do in this internship: 1. Must have a high attention to detail and achieve a high standard in every task undertaken - seeing each task through to completion. 2. Must be able to work independently as well as along side our existing assistant designers and our merchandisers. 3. You will be designing graphics and prints for sportswear and leisurewear, across men’s, ladies and children’s’ wear. 4. You will also be creating designs for clients brand labels and involved in producing seasonal catalogues, brochures and promotional items. 5. You will be creating garment designs and following original samples designs and amending into new designs. 6. You will be liaising, preparing designs and artwork for garment their production. 7. You will see your designs through from initial ideas to final Samples. 8. Other tasks that may be asked of you in relation to the business |
