Our organization, is looking for interns in their entomology department.  The internship includes hands on work with all non-venomous invertebrates and other animals at our organization, as well as helping to maintain the collection and processing shipments.  Interns may be required to spend time in the classroom for hands on demonstrations. Interns will have direct interaction with the public.

Materials are due at least six weeks prior to the start of the internship.

Requirements:
Requirements include coursework in entomology or related biological field, as well as working towards or having recently completed a degree in a biological field with at least a 2.5 GPA.  Interns are required to work a minimum of one four (4) hour shift per week but not to exceed sixteen (16) hours per week unless otherwise authorized by area supervisor.  The organization can be flexible concerning the number of hours and design of your internship, based on prior written proposals with agreement from the area supervisor. Interns are also required to complete a project that will be presented to the organization staff.
