We're looking for an exceptional User Experience Intern to join our team in order to help us create compelling user experience on mobile and Tablet devices.. This position requires a designer who will thrive in an agile environment and who will be good at prioritising user experience issues in order to hit frequent milestone delivery targets.

As an integral part of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for meeting the user experience design needs for a wide range of mobile platforms for global brands and large enterprises. Engaging in brainstorming and design of prototypes and mock ups, working in close collaboration with the design and development teams, and prioritising usability issues as we work to deliver award winning mobile experiences.

Responsibilities:
Key Accountabilities

1. Create User experience that stands out and highliy optimized for mobile and tablet devices
2. Responsible for defining best practise UI and UX response to a Creative Brief
3. Working to deadlines (working with Project Manager)
4. Working to best practice design and UX principles
5. Working as an integral part of a wider team of Project Managers, Account Managers, Designers and Developers
6. Ability to solve and simplify complex briefs
7. Able to be an authority on all things UX related and an internal resource for strategy proposals docs and questions from other designers etc

Requirements:
Personal Specification
• Strong background in human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, or related field (BS/MS in CS) or equivalent design and interaction design experience
• Experience with HCI methodologies including wire framing, flow charting, light-weight user testing
• Competent in producing a detailed UI spec
• Experience designing user interfaces for consumer facing applications
• Experience prototyping with HTML/CSS and JavaScript preferred or Flash Catalyst, After Effects.
• Strong, clean visual design sense
• Strong knowledge of different mobile and tablet platforms eg iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry
• Outstanding initiative and coordination skills including the ability to effectively partner across functional and remote teams
• Always looking at the latest advancements in UX
• Ability to share and circulate key findings with the team
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
